Sample Letter for Military Families

Date

Dear Congressman/Congresswoman (for Representatives)

Senator (for senators)

I am writing to share my concern for autism services available to military families. My (child/beneficiary) receives applied behavior analysis (ABA) services through the Autism Care Demonstration program. My family has been affected by these changes (insert your story…please refer to the examples of family impact statements that can be found at ACDSurvey.com)

Thank you for your attention to this matter and working to ensure that families like mine do not experience a lapse in ABA services due to the TRICARE contract issues.

Respectfully,

Your Name
